Chipmunk eating [gif]

Chipmunk eating [gif]

Here’s a gif file I made recently of a chipmunk popping its head out of a hole in the ground with a mouthful of food. This video was originally a HD Discover video from its North America series, so the quality was very good at the beginning. As such, the file size was pretty huge considering I was using only using around 30 frames.

Have a look and let me know what you think!

I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.  You can see some pixelation in some areas of the background, so in my never-ending quest to fine tune my gif making skills, I hope to be able to clear that part up.

Tiger Woods hits golf ball from Asia to Europe [Gif]

Tiger Woods hits golf ball from Asia to Europe [Gif]

Tiger Woods, as part of a promotion for the 2013 Turkish Open, hit a golf ball on the Bosphorous Bridge in Istanbul.  The bridge spans over the continental divide, so Tiger was hitting from Asia to Europe.

A Turkish news station was able to capture a pretty grainy video of Tiger’s drive on the bridge, so I was able to make a gif file of the swing.  I left the frame speed pretty slow so if I were to do this again, I’d leave less time between frames to speed up the gif and make Tiger’s shot more real-time.

Nebraska Cornhuskers quarterback Ron Kellogg Jr. threw a 49 yard hail mary touchdown pass to beat the Northwestern Wildcats 27-24.  Kellogg’s pass was tipped at the goalline by the Northwestern defense but then caught by Jordan Westerkamp in the endzone as time expired for Nebraska to claim victory.
